Grieving Hearts:
A Morning of
Sound & Reflection
Sunday 7th December, 2025
9am-1pm
When someone you love is gone, the festive season can stir deep waves of absence and longing. Crowds, parties, and holiday cheer often amplify loneliness, sadness, and grief. This morning retreat invites you to slow down, breathe and sit with what's real. It's a gentle space to honour your loved one, release emotion through sound, and connect with others who understand, no judgment, no expectations.

Who's this morning for?
This intimate and bespoke morning is for you if you are:
-
A widow or recently separated
-
Navigating grief or missing someone special this season
-
Seeking quiet reflection, emotional release, and connection, not therapy.
Small group, max 14 participants, ensures personalised offerings and personal attention.

A quiet sanctuary before the holiday parties:
Acknowledging what’s real
Let's be honest, most holiday events focus on cheer, celebration, uplifting cheesy music, and forced togetherness. But for those experiencing loss, the season can feel extremely isolating, and heavy.

This morning workshop is a deliberate pause, a place to acknowledge your true feelings, to safely release emotions, and to feel part of a similar-minded and supportive community.

— Audrey, A. Widow
"I came to one of Nicole's sound workshop carrying so much grief, feeling like I was alone in my sadness. Nicole held the space with such care and presence, by the end, I felt seen, supported, and lighter than I
have in months."
— June.L., Recently separated
"The sound meditation and reflective exercises were unlike anything I’ve experienced. It wasn’t about fixing my grief, it was about feeling it fully and being supported in the process. I left with a sense of connection and peace I didn’t know I could have again."
— Sandro, T. Newly bereaved
"I was hesitant to join a workshop during the busy holiday season, and with a group of other grieving people, but this retreat was exactly what I needed. Nicole’s approach is compassionate and authentic, and the small group made it feel safe to open up. I walked away with a sense of inner peace
and belonging."

Meet your guide:
Nicole, founder of
Sound Consciousness
Nicole is a certified sound therapist, grief facilitator, and retreat designer, with a Post Graduate Diploma in Pastoral and Spiritual Care. She creates intentional spaces for reflection, emotional processing, and connection, blending sound, ritual, and guided exercises drawn from years of supporting people at the end of life and guiding those navigating deep loss.

Her work is shaped by immersive journeys across India, Mexico, Nepal, the US, and Italy, and is rooted in her Egyptian heritage. As a Sound Therapist and End-of-Life Doula, Nicole has supported patients and families in palliative care wards in New York City and Melbourne, witnessing moments of sheer despair, emotional turmoil, and irreversible change, experiences most of us avoid.

She has developed two signature frameworks, Living Legacy and Mini Deaths, guiding people through life transitions, identity shifts, and the quiet, difficult questions that arise when someone is missing.

Through sound meditation, breathwork, and therapeutic storytelling, Nicole creates spaces for participants to embody their grief fully, release what they’ve been carrying, and reconnect with themselves and re-find a sense of meaning in life.

You won’t leave the same. You’ll walk away with a deeper sense of who you are, what truly matters, and how to carry your grief into life with greater presence and purpose.
